Opened in 1976 with purpose-built facilities, the school has well-equipped faculty rooms, two gymnasia, floodlit tennis courts and playing fields. The new learning resource centre includes a library, five computer networks and audio-visual equipment. Sporting achievements include local and national titles in rugby, cricket, hockey, netball, tennis and swimming. There is an annual school production and the school has enjoyed success in local debating and writing competitions.
