Situated six miles west of Swansea on the Gower Peninsula. Immediate catchment area is Bishopston and Murton, which comprises almost totally private housing. Not over-subscribed. Two buildings, about 70 yards apart. Infants in purpose-built, open-plan building dating from 1970, juniors in more traditional building dating from about 1950. School has its own kitchen, supplying up to 100 meals daily. Two halls, resources room, dark room/projector room, withdrawal room and library. Playing fields and large hard play areas. Well-equipped with televisions, videos, overhead projectors, 13 computers, 10 printers. Extra-curricular activities: netball, rounders, rugby, soccer, swimming, athletics, tennis, art, dance, gym, fishing, chess, choir and cricket. Year 6 pupils run a company which sells healthy drinks to the rest of the juniors. Supportive home-school association.
